I am so excited to finally launch this site! Music and Theory has been years in the making and is the realization of countless hours, ideas, brainstorming, and creativity in action.

Over the past 15 years of working in the music profession, I've come across a myriad of method books, compositions, arrangements, theory curricula, and other resources. There are some incredible materials out there! And yet, I still frequently struggle to find exactly what I'm looking for. 

You know the story:

  • You have a student who REALLY wants to play a specific piece, but you can't find an arrangement at his level.
  • Your students (and you!) are bored of the playing the same music all the time.
  • You want your child to learn something "different" or "special" so that she'll want to keep playing piano.
  • You're a student yourself, and you wish you had a place you could go to find new and original music to learn.
  • You long for additional ways to help your students understand and enjoy music theory.
  • You're a performing musician and you simply can't find the perfect piece/arrangement for your next performance.

Music and Theory is designed to be the musician's premier resource for sheet music and theory resources. Whether you're a music teacher, student, or performing musician, here you'll find a wide variety of sheet music including all-new original pieces and arrangements of long-time favorites, classics, and more. Teachers and students can also find exciting and innovative music theory materials to improve learning and help individuals develop a better understanding of the language of music. 

I'm in the process of converting and uploading all of my music resources. In the spirit of the season, we're currently focusing on Halloween piano sheet music and other holiday sheet music and printables (theory materials, teaching resources, etc.). Music and Theory will continue to grow, with new pieces and theory resources appearing on the site every week!
