This Halloween rag by Hans Engelmann is tons of fun! This arrangement is an adaptation of the main minor key theme across different octave ranges for a fully minor Halloween experience. It has also been simplified for intermediate level players (shorter LH jumps, smaller chords, etc.). It’s a delightfully fun ragtime piece and a great choice for a Halloween performance or party.
Accessible for smaller hands: Includes stepping open octaves in LH, but all jumps and chords have been adapted/condensed for reachability (all chord harmonies are 6ths or smaller).

This arrangement of Go Down Moses begins slowly and solemnly, then quickly ramps up into a fast boogie woogie swing that is an absolute blast to play. Experienced pianists will love the swinging rhythms, syncopation, exciting chord harmonies, and rapid blues scales in this performance showstopper.
“LOVE was made for me and you!” This is an “easy piano” arrangement in G major, best for late beginner to early intermediate pianists and fun for all ages.

Often played at Christmastime, but really a great song for anytime during the winter! This is an easy piano duet in C Major, evenly leveled for 2 mid to late elementary pianists (1 piano, 4 hands). Each part is written in traditional Grand Staff format (LH bass, RH treble) and all notes are within familiar beginner level reading range (G2 to C5) for both parts. The Secondo part is played one octave lower, Primo one octave higher. Secondo and Primo parts are written on separate pages with measures lined up accordingly.

Scott Joplin’s most well-known rag is a popular request among beginner pianists. This 2-hand version in C Major was written for a motivated, music-loving 1st year piano student who said as soon as she heard it: “It sounds just like the original!” The arrangement is highly educational and teaches excellent fingering techniques, intervals, hand movement and keyboard awareness. Plus, it’s just fun to play! This is a fantastic choice for a beginner recital piece.
Li’l Liza Jane is a music standard that has been adapted in a variety of genres, including jazz, bluegrass, folk, and rock. This rendition for late beginner to early intermediate students is fast and lively! It may be played in a quick 4/4 meter or even an energetic cut time feel. Rests on the downbeats in the chorus light a fire under the fingers and make it feel like a dance number.
