• Hallowe’en Dance (Engelmann) – Simplified Piano

    $4.99$8.99

This Halloween rag by Hans Engelmann is tons of fun! This arrangement is an adaptation of the main minor key theme across different octave ranges for a fully minor Halloween experience. It has also been simplified for intermediate level players (shorter LH jumps, smaller chords, etc.). It’s a delightfully fun ragtime piece and a great choice for a Halloween performance or party.

Accessible for smaller hands: Includes stepping open octaves in LH, but all jumps and chords have been adapted/condensed for reachability (all chord harmonies are 6ths or smaller).

Irving Berlin and Ted Snyder wrote a lot of great music together. This catchy rag they co-wrote is arranged here as an intermediate piano solo, with authentic harmonies and simplified LH stride. With a 7th as the largest harmonic interval, it’s very comfortable for smaller hands. Lyrics included on a separate page (for optional singalong) describe the irresistible power of this “sneaky, freaky, ever melodious mysterious rag”, which will forever be stuck in your head from the moment you hear it!
