This traditional English song is arranged here for beginner piano in 2 versions: both in C Major, in 6/8 time, with the same RH melody, but with different LH accompaniments. Both arrangements are great for teaching 6/8 time and basic arpeggios in both hands.

Version 1 has the LH playing melodic 5ths, reminiscent of a boat gently rocking as it glides down the stream.
Version 2 has moving broken chords in which the LH is rocking a little more vigorously, sending the boat merrily on its way.
