• Erlkönig (Schubert) – Simplified Piano

    $3.99$8.99

This is an early intermediate piano arrangement of the opening theme to Schubert’s “Erlkönig” (inspired by the haunting Goethe poem). It’s simplified for early intermediate level, but still filled with interesting technical challenges such as repeat note fingerings in both hands (3-2-1-3-2-1), LH melody, and quick repeating harmonies (loose wrists!). Dramatic and intense, it’s a fantastic classical piece for the Halloween season.

Accessible for smaller hands: No large jumps, and all chord harmonies are 6ths or smaller. Also includes four open octaves for LH (if the pianist cannot reach, play the lower note only).
