One of the most memorable and recognizable musical themes from the Tim Burton Disney film “The Nightmare Before Christmas”!
This is an “easy piano” arrangement written in large print. It modulates between A minor, G minor, and C minor (with no key signatures; all flats and sharps are written as accidentals). Some finger numbers are included to assist with hand movement and arpeggios. Written for late elementary pianists and accessible for smaller hands. Great to play during both Halloween and Christmas seasons.
Note: Sheet music has been updated and no longer includes a D.S. al Coda as shown in the video (the repeated section has been written into the music instead).
From the original Dr. Seuss cartoon “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” by Dr. Seuss and Albert Hague, as sung by Thurl Ravenscroft.
This is an easy piano arrangement in A minor, with optional voice. Contains all 6 verses from the original, with repeats and different musical endings for each verse as in the cartoon (see page previews). Best for late beginner pianists and fun for all ages!
This arrangement may be performed as a piano solo or as a vocal accompaniment. Rhythms may be adapted for different verses (some rhythm alternatives have been suggested as cue-sized notes). If used for vocal accompaniment, the vocalist should read the Treble staff of the piano part. Lyrics indicate which notes to follow.
