• Doriantella (Early Intermediate Piano Solo)

    $4.99$8.99

Doriantella is an original tarantella in dorian mode. Written in D dorian, it lightens the feel of the classic minor key tarantella, giving it a mysterious and almost mystical fantasy quality. Best for early intermediate pianists and a beautiful recital piece.

Accessible for smaller hands: The largest harmonic interval is a Major 6th (inverted chord triad).

  • When I Grow Up (Matilda the Musical)

    $5.99

This playful piece from Matilda the Musical explores how children see grown ups and all that they imagine they will be able to do when they’re grown up. With a driving beat and a perfect balance between lightheartedness and solemnity, “When I Grow Up” is a fantastic and engaging modern musical theatre piece.

This is an intermediate piano arrangement with optional vocal solo, set in the original key (F major). It is written in the same style as the original, but simplified to make it playable for an early to mid intermediate pianist. Good for smaller hands. Includes chord symbols.

This arrangement is a great standalone musical solo piece and includes all lyrics up through the verse originally written for Miss Honey; ends after this section (does not include the final upbeat section where Matilda’s lyrics begin with “Just because you find that life’s not fair…”).

This arrangement may be performed as a piano solo or as a vocal accompaniment; if used for vocal accompaniment, the vocalist should read the Treble staff of the piano part. Lyrics indicate which notes to follow. Lower harmonies are generally meant to be played by the pianist (not sung).
